Austin is hot well into football season. At Camp Mabry, the 1991 to 2020 normals are an average September high of 91.4°F (normal highs fall from 95°F on Sept. 1 to 88°F by Sept. 30) and an average October high of 82.5°F. Record highs are 112°F in September and 101°F in October.
